The Northern Tornadoes Project has confirmed that the storm seen on August 3 near Kaladar was a tornado.
The tornado, ranked by the project at the weakest level of EF-0, touched down east of Kaladar in a wooded area at roughly 5:50 p.m.
The storm, caught on video and pictures, cut a path through local vegetation for about a third of a kilometre.
No injuries or property damage were reported.
