One person has been arrested for attempted murder in Bancroft.
Ontario Provincial Police officers from the Bancroft detachment responded to an assault in the town just after 2:30 Thursday morning.
One person was found with serious injuries.
Heidi Breathour, 43, of Bancroft was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
The accused was held for a bail hearing in Belleville.
