Calls for ambulance service in Hastings County were down slightly in the first six months of this year, compared to 2022.
Statistics presented at the Emergency Services Committee meeting Wednesday indicate the service answered 14,507 emergency calls, 10 fewer than last year, in the period January to June.
The total call volume, including standby, was 20,060.
The response time statistics for across-county ambulances, including Belleville and Quinte West, ranges from 5:30 minutes in Bancroft to 13:57 minutes in Hastings County.
