A member of the Belleville Beast Swim Team has won multiple medals at the Swimming Canada Championships in Scarborough.
Fifteen-year-old Francis Brennan, a student at Bayside Secondary School, collected silver medals in the 100 and 200 metre backstroke.
Coach Brandon Oates believes it’s the first time a Belleville Beast swimmer has earned multiple medals at a National Championship.
