Two people are facing murder charges, following a death north of Kaladar Saturday night.
There are several local connections in the investigation.
Around 6:30 p.m., members of the Frontenac Detachment of the OPP were called to Bishop Lake, between Cloyne and Northbrook.
Paramedics also responded to the scene.
Officials says the 22-year-old victim was pronounced dead on site.
Thirty-nine-year-old Corey Finch of Marmora and 41-year old Michelle Lee Finch of Stone Mills Township, are both charged with second degree murder.
A family member, who asked not to be named, tells Quinte News the deceased is from Campbellford, however Quinte News has decided not to release the victim’s name, until police do so.
The source says the victim was known to the suspects.

Two individuals have been arrested and charged in connection with a homicide near Bishop Lake.
Members of the Frontenac OPP responded to a disturbance call shortly before 6:30 p.m. on July 29, 2023.
Paramedics responded, but the 22-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers on scene arrested Cory FINCH, 39-years-old of Marmora, ON and Michelle Lee FINCH, 41-years-old of Stone Mills Township. Both are charged with Second Degree Murder.
There is no threat to public safety.
The accused persons will be held in custody pending a bail hearing. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Frontenac OPP Crime Unit and OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS), under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, and in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service .
