Prince Edward County is temporarily shutting down washrooms at two of its parks.
The public washrooms at Mill Pond Park in Bloomfield and Westfall Park in Carrying Place will be closed for painting until July 28.
The Department of Illumination will carry out the project which is funded by the Tourism Relief Fund.
- Funding is coming from the Tourism Relief Fund.
- The project is intended to raise the visibility of public washrooms through creating eye-catching designs that respect the uniqueness of Prince Edward County.
- A portable toilet will be available to use during the closure.
