The Quinte West Planning Committee has approved a request to rezone some rural land to expand the Bay of Quinte Golf Course.
The Planning Committee reviewed the rezoning request to change the vacant lot from rural to rural commercial, and sever part of the lot to attach to the golf course, which would permit the golf course expansion.
The property is located on Moira Street West with an area of 66.6 hectares.
After getting planning committee approval, the request goes to city council for final approval.
