A Trenton man has been charged after two separate police investigations.
In the first investigation, on Tuesday, officers from Quinte West OPP responded to a call for a trespassing complaint. The suspect identified himself verbally to police but the information provided was found to be false.
The second investigation involved a break and enter complaint on Dundas Street East in Quinte West on Thursday. OPP officers attended after being called, which lead to an investigation and the arrest of the suspect.
James Patrick, a 44-year-old Trenton man, was charged with:
- Obstruct peace officer
- Three counts of fail to comply with probation order
- Break and enter
- Mischief interfere with lawful use of property
- Possession of schedule 1 substance – Methamphetamine
The accused is being held pending a bail hearing.
