A member of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte has achieved a personal best and a bronze medal at the North American Indigenous Games in Halifax.
Eastside Secondary’s Rodney Maracle came third in the U-19 800 metre event.
He is a member of the Quinte Legion Lynx Track and Field Club
Maracle’s time was 2:00:90.
He is not done competing however.
On Wednesday, Maracle is taking part in the 400 metre event.
