There were scary times at a Belleville restaurant drive-thru on North Front Street early Tuesday.
City police responded after reports of a man screaming at vehicles lined up at the drive-thru
and yelling about having a weapon at 3:35 in the morning.
Police say the man tried to climb into the window where customers were being served.
Officers located a suspect who gave police a false name but through investigation it was learned he was a 48-year-old man from Quinte West.
The unidentified suspect was held for a bail hearing and faces charges including obstruct police, weapons dangerous, and possession of a weapon while prohibited.
