Belleville’s Glanmore National Historic Site is hosting a fair later this month to celebrate two milestones.
The fair will mark the 50th anniversary of its opening as a museum, and 140 years since the building’s construction.
There will be family-friendly performances and activities on the lawn and the public is invited to bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the music.
Entertainment will include the Belleville Concert Band, Fiddle Earth, Jennifer Bryant and Cue theFunk. There will be a magic show by Doc Century and family members can challenge each other to a game of croquet or test their skills with old-fashioned carnival games.
The fair will take place from noon until 4:30 p.m. on July 15.
