There was no lack of action for OPP officers watching for speeding and other traffic infractions on Highway 401 Thursday morning in the Napanee area.
Lennox and Addington OPP officers laid over 40 speeding and other charges in the morning alone on the highway.
Police say the quote of the day went to a passenger in a car that was stopped for a seatbelt infraction.
The passenger said, “I don’t have to wear one, I’m an adult.”
Police say they confirmed the passenger was an adult by handing the person a ticket for a fine.
