Like father like son, Pero wins Ontario golf title

For the first time in Ontario golf history a father and son have won the same championship.
Bloomfield’s Cameron Pero shot a ten under par 278 for a two-shot win in the four-round Ontario Men’s Amateur Golf Championship which this year was held at Black Bear Ridge in Belleville.
Cameron’s dad, Mike Pero won the same title in 1989. Pero is a member of the Picton Golf and Country Club.
