Prince Edward County Council has more questions than answers when it comes to Picton Terminals.
Council has directed the Chief Administrative Officer and legal team to obtain answers from Picton Terminals to additional questions asked during a closed meeting Monday.
The two sides have been at odds since 2020 when the County denied a rezoning application that would have allowed Picton Terminals to expand.
In April of this year, the County and the company agreed to enter discussions to negotiate a settlement.
However, at the time, the County said it would continue with a by-law enforcement order against Picton Terminals, related to shipping containers on the site.
County Council has made no decisions on the outstanding legal matter.
The County will provide updates as they become available.
