The City of Belleville is pleased to announce that Royal Property Management has signed the Belleville Workplace Inclusion Charter.
The goal of the charter is to encourage local businesses and organizations to make a commitment to inclusion in the workplace through planning, setting achievable goals that move their workplace forward and deploying a variety of tactics to meet those goals.
Royal Property Management’s business goals are based on diversity, inclusion and acceptance. Their service model is one of fairness to their employees, where they have a “family first” policy for all. They believe diversity in the workplace fosters new ideas and solutions to business, and enhances the overall service to the public. This dedication to diversity, inclusion and acceptance is demonstrated through their hiring practices and the interactions they have on a daily basis with their clients.
“Being a small business with a diverse staff, we decided to sign the charter as it represents the core values of Royal Property Management and the way that I have always done business,” said owner of Royal Property Management Barbara Enright-Miller. “I feel that diversity is key to success in any business and that there is great value in understanding and embracing our differences. Our core belief at Royal is that we treat all our clients with the same respect that we wish to be treated. As such, my commitment as a business owner is to create a welcoming and inclusive space that is free of any judgement to any peoples, for any reason.”
As for next steps for inclusion in the workplace, Royal Property Management will continue to grow their diversity and equity goals, as they feel it is paramount for a people-based business such as theirs in order to provide the best service level possible for their clients. They will also continue to encourage inclusive contributions and service of their staff, clients and the general public.
