A theft charge was laid in Trenton on Tuesday.
Quinte West OPP responded to a theft report from a Dundas Street West business in the late morning where an individual allegedly refused to pay for his purchases and fled with the stolen items.
Police were able to identify and arrest a suspect.
Thirty-one-year-old Ryan Durant of Trenton is been charged with theft over $5000 and fail to comply with probation order.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on July 20.
