Charges have been laid in relation to two investigations by Belleville Police
Early Saturday morning, an officer stopped a driver and upon investigation, found out that not only was the driver suspended from driving, but was also wanted in a counterfeit investigation from the east end of the city on Wednesday.
The driver was also found to be in possession of a weapon.
32-year old Kevin Hazell of Belleville has been charged with impaired, fraud under $5,000, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of counterfeit money and other weapons charges
He has a court date next month.
