Belleville Police have laid charges in the vandalism at West Riverside’s Pirate Ship Park.
On April 11, officers were called to a report of mischief caused at the park.
A suspect had spray-painted the park, causing significant damage.
A 17-year-old Belleville male was identified as a suspect and turned himself in to police.
He was charged with mischief under $5,000 and released.
