Nominations are open for the Municipality of Brighton’s Citizen of the Year award.
According to a release, the award is given to a citizen of Brighton who has “gone above and beyond in contributing to the well-being of our municipality and its members for multiple years.”
The period for nominations will be open throughout the summer.
An induction ceremony for the chosen winner will be done during Applefest weekend in late September.
