100 + Women Who Care Quinte has again chosen to support an organization providing crucial medical care to residents in the area.
At its 28th meeting Wednesday night, the 100 Women group voted to donate a substantial amount of money to Bev Woods and Gift From the Heart.
Gift From the Heart provides basic dental care free of charge to people without dental benefits and recently opened a clinic in Brighton.
The exact amount of 100 + Women Who Care’s donation is not yet known.
Since its inception in 2015 the organization has donated over $300,000 to charities and non-profit organizations in the Quinte area.
