Belleville’s second Caribbean Festival is going to be a lot bigger than last year’s.
Organizers Discover Belleville are planning a parade leaving the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse and
moving through the downtown.
And a “Rum Zone,” a liquor licensed area, is planned for the parking lot right across from City Hall.
Front Street would be closed from Campbell Street to Bridge Street and Campbell Street itself would be closed.
Many more vendors and more entertainers are expected and attendance is predicted to go as high as 8,000.
The Belleville Caribbean Festival goes Saturday, August 19.
