Two local high school students did well on day 2 of the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) track and field championships.
In the women’s novice discus throw Sidney Johnson of Nicholson Catholic College finished in second place.
Also finishing in second place was Aidan Crawford of Eastside Secondary. He competed in the junior men’s javelin throw.
The final day of the championships goes today (Saturday) in Ottawa.
