Building permit statistics are in for May 2023 in Brighton.
Building totals continue to be down, with only 20 permits approved in May, compared to 30 in May of last year. Sixty-three permits have been approved so far in 2023, lower than the 90 approved by this time last year.
The total value of May’s construction is $2,923,000, down by over 50% compared to last May’s $8,669,000.
The approved permits in May include just four dwellings.
