Quinte West OPP have laid weapons charges against two people.
Police received a complaint about a person brandishing a large knife and striking an apartment door with it.
OPP responded around 7 a.m. on Tuesday to an apartment building on Annwood Court in Trenton.
An investigation lead to two people being arrested.
Thirty-five-year-old Jeremy Roy of Trenton was charged with the following:
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Fail to comply with probation order
Twenty-nine-year-old Kristen Cross of Quinte West was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and released on a future court date.
Roy was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
