Quinte West OPP have laid assault charges after an incident on Sunday.
Police responded to a business on Dundas Street East in Quinte West around 7 p.m. on a complaint of an assault.
An investigation led to a person being arrested.
Forty-one-year-old Joshua Cripps of Durham Region is charged with the following:
- Assault – two counts
- Utter threats to cause death or bodily harm
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
