Quinte West firefighters dealt with not one but two dumpster fires at the same location overnight.
Just before midnight there were reports of flames coming from a dumpster at Trenton Town Centre on Dundas Street East.
That fire was quickly dealt with but crews were called out again to the same shopping plaza for another dumpster fire just before 2 o’clock Monday morning.
OPP were called in and reports indicate a male was taken into custody. There were no reports of injury.
Meantime at 6 o’clock Monday morning Quinte West OPP were called to downtown Trenton at King and Division streets after reports of homeless males setting fire to items near the Lifelabs location.
