Once again a road in Prince Edward County has made the top 10 in the Canadian Automobile Association’s annual worst roads in Ontario list.
County Road 49, linking Tyendinaga-Deseronto with Picton, finished third. A street in Hamilton topped the list.
Local politicians recently held an event pleading for senior government to help finance the reconstruction of 49, which finished first in the top 10 worst roads list in 2016.
Meanwhile, on a regional basis, Picton’s Barker Street and Belleville’s Bridge Street West joined County Road 49 on the top five worst roads list for eastern Ontario.
