Four people have been charged following the execution of a search warrant in Trenton.
The OPP’s Community Street Crime Unit, with an assist from the OPP Tactical Response Unit and OPP Emergency Response Team, executed the warrant at a home on Annwood Court on Monday around 5 p.m.
Four people were arrested, a handgun was seized, and a quantity of suspected fentanyl was confiscated.
Fifty-three-year-old Nadine Allarie of Belleville was charged with the following:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of crime
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of weapon
Twenty-year-old Jim Hosang of Pickering was charged with the following:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of crime
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of weapon
- Fail to comply with release order – three counts
Forty-one-year-old Archibald McIsaac of Trenton was charged with the following:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of crime
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of weapon
- Fail to comply with probation order
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
Twenty-four-year-old Connor Putman of the GTA was charged with the following:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of crime
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of weapon
- Fail to comply with probation order – three counts
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
Allaire was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville at a future date.
The other three were held for a bail hearing.
