Belleville council is expected to approve a contract that would lead to improvements at Mary Anne Sills Park.
At its meeting tomorrow, council will be asked to approve a bid by World Wide Turf Inc. of $690,000 plus HST to replace the artificial turf on Field #2.
The work had already been approved as part of this year’s capital budget.
World Wide Turf’s bid was the lowest of two. The turf’ replacement will be done in August.
