Docs by the Bay Physician Recruitment and Retention program has announced their latest catch.
Dr. Bushra Chaudry, has signed medical service agreements with both Quinte West and Brighton, and is preparing to start practising family medicine for both communities in June.
Dr. Chaudry will be joining the Trenton/Brighton Family Medical Clinic of Dr. Stephen Evans and Dr. Getnet Asrat. Dr. Evans and Dr. Asrat are both former colleagues of hers.
Originally from Ottawa, Dr. Chaudry obtained her medical degree from the University of Punjab in Pakistan and completed her family medicine residency at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Chaudry is also a certified Emergency Medicine Physician.
Dr. Chaudry is the 16th doctor recruited by the program, which was launched six years ago.
