Prince Edward County has updated its burn ban to a full burn ban.
The full burn ban restricts the use of campfires, burn barrels, chimeneas, brush piles and yard waste.
All burn permits have been placed under restriction.
The electronic system will not permit anyone to activate their permit for burning.
The ban is in effect due to high winds and dry conditions expected to hit the area for the next several days.
