The City of Belleville says temporary lane closures can be expected on several streets and roads over the next week as Superior Road Products has begun applying an asphalt rejuvenating agent called Reclamite.
Affected roads and streets are:
- Mudcat Road – Ashley Street, east 3.25 km
- McFee Street
- Chown Crescent
- Freemont Road
- Albert Street – Bridge Street to Queen Street
- Chatham Street – Pine Street to Victoria Avenue
- Chatham Street – Bridge Street to Queen Street
- Lemoine Street
- Lingham Street – Emily Street to Pine Street
- Follwell Crescent
- Harman Street
Treatment has begun on Mudcat Road and will move to the urban areas of the city starting Friday.
In addition to lane closures, residents are asked to avoid parking on the street while the work is being completed.
Work is expected to be finished by Friday, May 12 at the latest.
