(Jordan Fuller scores o.t. winner in Game 3)
They weren’t facing elimination, however, it was a must-win for Trenton in Game 3 of the OJHL final and they got it.
Jordan Fuller scored at 6:09 of overtime to give Trenton a 2-1 victory and life in their series in Collingwood.
However the G-Hawks might not have made it to overtime if not for the larcenous play of goaltender Ben Bonisteel as the Blues outshot Trenton 40-27.
It was Fuller’s sixth goal and 14th point in 18 playoff games this year. He talked about Trenton’s strategy going into overtime.
Mitch Lafay also scored for Trenton who still trail 2-1 in the series.
Coach and General Manager Jerome Dupont:
Game 4 is Wednesday night at 7:30 at the Trenton Community Gardens.
