A Prince Edward County resident has been charged after an assault in The County on Tuesday evening.
Around 8 p.m., officers received a call to a Big Island address.
Reports says a person was injured after having an item thrown at them.
Paramedics treated the victim for injuries.
Thirty-three-year-old Brennan Markland of Prince Edward County was charged with assault with a weapon and two counts of mischief under $5,000.
