Vandals have forced the closure of a Belleville playground.
The city announcing via social media Tuesday morning that the Riverside West pirate ship playground would be closed because someone painted graffiti on the structures.
The city’s parks team is removing the graffiti and the park will reopen when they are done, hopefully later Tuesday or Wednesday.
An update will be shared on the city’s social media channels when it reopens.
