Career Fair has set a date

It’s that time again – the Quinte Region Career Fair has set its spring date.

At its event, the Quinte Region Career Fair hosts an estimate of 50 employers from across the region to showcase employment opportunities, promote their organizations and meet qualified candidates.

The event gives job seekers looking for a new position or career change to explore available opportunities and network with recruiters from across the Bay of Quinte region.

Belleville’s Director of Economic Development Heather Candler says, “With the roster of employers that we will have on site, anyone looking for a new job or career will have a variety of industries to choose from.  We have many employers attending and hiring for various positions – from entry level to senior management. We encourage everyone to come out, take a walk around and see what employment opportunities are here.”

“Working closely with the City of Belleville allows both municipalities to collaborate to help local employers fill their job vacancies,” says Manager of Economic Development and Tourism Services for the City of Quinte West, Linda Lisle. “Both municipalities are committed to helping employers fill their job vacancies with qualified candidates.”

And Quinte West’s economic development officer Elizabeth Edwards adds,

“The city of Quinte West is very excited to be facilitating the Career Fair with over 40 employers and we look forward to seeing potential employees coming out ah and facilitating these relationships.”

The Fair runs April 20, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Quinte Sports Centre.
