Freezing rain expected tonight.
Hazards: Freezing rain with ice accretion of 5 mm possible. Timing: Overnight into late Wednesday morning. Discussion: Freezing rain is expected to develop overnight or early Wednesday morning and continue into the late morning before temperatures rise above the freezing mark. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break. Utility outages may occur.
