School transportation planners, members of CUPE Local 1479, have reached a tentative agreement with Tri-Board Student Transportation Services averting a strike or lockout on Monday.
CUPE represents seven Tri-Board employees, six of whom are transportation planners.
Details of the deal were not released.
In an earlier media release, the union said the route planners were being paid 19% less than the provincial average.
They had previously rejected Tri-Board’s offer of a 3.7% salary increase over four years.
Union members will vote on ratification early next week.
