We’re expecting a fair bit of rain at times mixed in with wet snow Friday and Saturday.
Some forecasts are calling for 20 to 25 mm of rain.
Because of that both Quinte and Lower Trenton conservation authorities are warning of the
likelihood of “nuisance flooding” in low-lying areas.
Serious flood issues are not expected but people should stay away from the banks of fast-flowing rivers and creeks.
Officials say current water levels and flows in local rivers and streams are about average for this time of year.
