Trenton Figure Skating Club is hosting one of their biggest weekends of the year.
On Sunday, they are presenting the Musical Time Machine on Ice.
Jennifer Dorland the carnival co-chair says it is the first time it has been run in three years.
“We’re super excited to be able to offer it again for the kids in the club and for the people in the community.”
She says they have some great guest skaters this year.
“The Ice Wine Synchro Team, they’re an adult synchronized skating team that skates out of Prince Edward County. Plus we have Grayson Long and Grayson skates out of Toronto actually and is coached by Brian Orser. He’s an amazing up and coming figure skater.”
Dorland adds the kids are excited for their performances.
“You know we have CAN skaters that could barely even skate at the start of the season who are now going to come out and put on a performance for their family. It’s going to be incredible to watch and see how much they’ve grown over this year.”
It is taking place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Duncan McDonald Arena
