Quinte West OPP have charged four people with drug trafficking after the execution of the search warrants.
Police executed the warrants at around 5 a.m. on Wednesday at homes on Loyalist Parkway and Adrian Court as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
Members of the OPP’s Community Street Crime Unit, with the assist by the OPP’s Emergency Response Team, helped to execute the warrants.
As a result of the warrants, four people were arrested and a quantity of cocaine and methamphetamine were seized.
A prohibited weapon with ammunition was also seized.
30-year-old Joshua Hilts and 33-year-old Kaitlin McCrory of Carrying Place were charged with the following:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession of proceeds of crime
- Possession of prohibited device or ammunition
33-year-old David Ostroskie of Bloomfield was charged with the following:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of ammunition contrary to prohibition order
- Fail to comply with probation order – two counts
32-year-old Sarah Heaslip of Trenton was charged with the following:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
All four were released from custody and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on April 24.
