Some special training is being conducted next week at Canadian Forces Detachment Mountain View.
Members from 2 Wing Bagotville, will be conducting Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) training activities at Mountain View from early morning March 28 to late afternoon March 29.
This type of training is essential for the execution of Canadian Armed Forces missions around the world.
There is no risk to public safety during this training.
8 Wing Trenton reminds the public that civilian drones/UAS shall not be flown on or near 8 Wing / CFD Mountain View in accordance with Transport Canada and Department of National Defence safety and security regulations.
