COVID-19 continues to circulate in the Quinte region.
The number of new high risk cases in Hastings and Prince Edward counties rose to 73 last week, up from 44 in the week before.
And as of Monday the number of active high risk COVID cases was up to 86 from just 55 in the week previous.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reported that 12 people were in local hospital being treated for the illness with three of them in intensive care.
Influenza activity remains low in the region.
