In the half-dozen Project Renewal investigations in the fourth quarter of 2022, 10 people were arrested and almost $34,000 in drugs was seized.
There were six investigations that led to the seizure of $20,000 of fentanyl, $13,000 of crystal meth and small amounts of cocaine and magic mushrooms as well as cash and property like cell phones and scales.
Charges laid included seven counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, as well charges involving proceeds of crime, fail to comply and breach of probation.
The Belleville Police Services Board is to receive the report on street crime statistics at its meeting Thursday.
