A garage fire in Quinte West this afternoon caused about $75,000 damage.
Fire Chief John Whalen says the call came in just after 1 p.m.
He tells Quinte News the owner of the property on 745 English Settlement Road was welding when the fire started.
The detached garage was reported to be fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters moved two large propane tanks away from the building.
There were no injuries.
