A man tried to run from Belleville police officers Tuesday night but was quickly arrested after reports someone was wielding a large knife in a Front Street bar.
Officers responded at around 10 o’clock.
Twenty-year-old Logan McCoy of Belleville was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and breach of probation.
He has an April court date.
