Charges have been laid against a 28-year-old woman, following an altercation in a west end Belleville business Monday.
Around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a Bridge Street West business, where a customer was accused of stealing items.
An employee and the suspect got into an altercation, resulting in the employee being injured.
Jillian Fisher was arrested and charged with theft and assault and has an April 13 court date.
