A Prince Edward County OPP Sergeant has received the ‘Partnership’ Accolade Award from the Ontario Provincial Police.
Sergeant Paul LeBlanc received the commendation for his work leading to a decrease in the number of police calls for service
at a local youth facility.
Using the province’s Ontario’s Mobilization and Engagement Model, Sergeant LeBlanc educated community partners such as
local residents near the youth facility, employees of the facility, and Children’s Aid to bring the number of police-involved incidents down.
