The search is on for a new Chief Administrative Officer for Hastings County.
Jim Pine has announced he intends to retire at the end of June.
Council has now begun the process of finding Pine’s replacement.
Warden Bob Mullin says he wishes to thank Pine for all of his work and dedication to the people of Hastings County over the years, adding he has been instrumental in the development of many innovative initiatives throughout the County of Hastings and the Province of Ontario.
The CAO reports directly to the Warden and members of County Council.
The job is to provide vision, and strategic and inclusive leadership to the entire organization during times of growth and change.
Applications are being accepted until March 19.
