Depending on how city council budget talks go, the city’s high school students could be offered free Belleville Transit bus passes in the next while.
Belleville’s Transit Advisory Committee is considering issuing free bus passes to students to increase awareness of the service and to increase ridership in future years.

The last time Belleville Transit offered separate passes for high school students was 2019 and only 200 were sold creating $12,000 in revenue.
